PAPAGENA Projects GmbH is your specialist for innovation and solutions in cashless, electronic payment transactions. Since 1995 we have been developing needs-based IT products and services for our customers in the areas of payment, prepaid and ticketing.

OUR MISSION

At PAPAGENA Projects, we have made it our mission to develop solutions that simplify processes and make them more efficient on the basis of fast cash transfers and cashless payment transactions for companies from a wide variety of industries. We make worldwide electronic networking, promoted by the increasing global action of banks and financial service providers, optimally useful for our customers.

The decisive factor for successfully establishing ourselves as a specialist in these areas is our exceptionally strong team with good networking in the market. Our team consists of first-class employees, especially in development and customer service, who bring a great deal of commitment in addition to their technical expertise. PAPAGENA attaches great importance to consulting-oriented solutions, customer-oriented product development, and short decision-making processes and realisation times.

The company was founded in 1995 by Gerd and Björn Schlesselmann as PAPAGENA Software Vertriebs GmbH. The goal was the marketing of innovative software for organisers. For the past 15 years, PAPAGENA has concentrated on e-commerce, e-banking and e-payment solutions. Björn Schlesselmann has been the sole shareholder and managing director since 2015.

HANSEATIC CITY HAMBURG

For a long time, the company was based at one of the oldest addresses in the Hansestadt Hamburg, not far from the city’s first port basin opposite the Speicherstadt and thus near the landing bridges, the Elbphilharmonie and the cruise terminals – an address where we regularly take the cruise ships our customers could not see, but could hear them. Since summer 2020 we have been residing in our new rooms in Hamburg’s City-Süd. We can no longer hear the ships, but we can walk to some customers.
